Notwithstanding the overall election, the dates for which were declared on Saturday, the upcoming edition of the Indian Chief Association will be held in the nation in its whole.

“Complete IPL will occur in India only. BCCI is working on the full timetable and will unveil it soon,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah told The Indian Express.

Shah, in the public statement announcing the timetable for the initial 21 IPL games from March 22 to April 7, had expressed that the BCCI will soon finalize the timetable for the remainder of the tournament.

“As previously, the BCCI will work intimately with government and security organizations, following every single fundamental protocol and warnings connected with the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in India. Once the dates for the eighteenth Lok Sabha elections are reported, the Board will audit and resolve any issues pertaining to the timetable of the initial fourteen days. In this way, the BCCI will work pair with neighborhood specialists to finalize the timetable for the remainder of the season, taking into account the polling dates,” Shah had said.

The IPL groups have started their preparation and players have begun joining their individual groups. The opening round of the season will be played between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Illustrious Challengers of Bangalore in Chennai on March 22.
